Q&A for Orders

Payments are secure through PayPal, which allows you to pay via credit card, debit card, bank account, and PayPal credit. Purchased items will typically be shipped the following Friday after payment has cleared (which is usually immediate, unless you have a new PayPal account).


Taxes will be added automatically before checkout, if applicable for you. Since I am based in Washington State, taxes will be applied for anyone ordering from Washington (according to state and local laws).

Shipping

Orders are shipped every Friday. 


I use U.S.P.S. for mailing, and send orders either First class mail or Priority mail, so orders are usually received in 2-4 days within the continental USA. 


For small items and orders, I will usually ship in a poly mailer, first class. For larger or more expensive pieces, dolls, custom sculptures, I will ship them either Priority Mail in a box, or first class in a box.


If you ever wish to upgrade shipping for some reason, need overnight, or outside the U.S., send me an email and I'll let you know what the rates would be. I'm willing to ship for your conditions, so just let me know! 

Returns, Exchanges, Refunds

I have a great, no-hassle refund policy for shop and non-custom items! If you aren't satisfied with a non-custom item, return it to me and you get your money back. Simple, honest, no worries. I want you to love your purchase! And smile when you visit my shop. 


Please contact me immediately if you receive your item and it is damaged or you are dissatisfied with the product in any way, so I can make it right according to the situation. If you must return an item, upon my receipt of your returned item, I will issue you a full refund (less shipping...but if it's my error, I will also refund your shipping!). 


Contact me within 14 days of receiving your item, and returns must be postmarked for shipment within 20  days of original delivery date.


The following items can't be returned or exchanged:

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital downloads
  • NOTE: There are additional policies for Custom Orders. (Please read the Custom Orders section for specific details.)

My goal is to make every transaction 100% satisfactory! All I ask is that you write me personally with any problem or issues so that I can take care of it right away for you!

Special (Custom) Orders

Custom orders are paid in full upfront, however, any custom order of $100 or more includes a built in 50% deposit to protect you (and me) in case of cancellations. See more details on this below. 


HOW IT WORKS: To inquire about a custom order, simple send me an email with what you have in mind, and I'll respond as quickly as possible. Once we have worked out the details of the project, I will give you a cost and timeline estimate, and if you agree, I'll  put up a custom order listing here at the store, just for you. Once paid, your project goes on my production schedule with the dates I gave you before posting your listing. I will then send you progress photos (if you chose to receive them) as I work on your order. I will allow up to three changes as the piece is developed, to make sure it is exactly what you want...and much more!


CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY: If you choose to cancel a custom order within 24 hours of purchase (before I have started production), you will receive a full refund of the purchase price (generally credited back to your account through PayPal, within 48 hours, except for holidays or non-banking days). 


For cancellation after 24 hours, and/or  I have started working on your order, I will refund 1/2 your purchase price only (note: the 50% deposit is non-refundable after 24 hours following purchase); however, after the 24 hours, if the cancellation request is within two weeks, the deposit can be credited toward a purchase in my shop (must be redeemed within 30 days). 


For cancellation after order is 50% or fully completed: A custom item over half completed, or fully completed and ready-to-send that is cancelled after completion will be refunded half the purchase amount (less shipping), with no refund of the 50% deposit amount, and no sales credit given. This is to help recover used materials and lost labor.


IMPORTANT: Please note: If you must cancel a custom order at any time in the process, please let me know and we can work out an arrangement depending on your circumstances. I want you to feel secure when ordering custom work from me!


COMPLETION TIMES FOR CUSTOM ORDERS: Demand for my work is increasing, and due to the nature of customized sculptures, please allow 4-6 weeks for the completion of custom dolls from the time I notify you that it is scheduled to begin. Smaller pieces usually can be completed in 2-4 weeks, depending on how many orders are in my work queue ahead of you at the time you order. 


I am very good at keeping clients updated on the progress of their pieces, and will not only keep you updated on your creation's progress, but I also love sharing progress photos with you, anytime, and as often as you'd like. Please write with any questions you may have!
